Frequently Asked Questions

What is Solar Homes?
Rooftop Solar System Means; Solar Panel are installed on the Roof of a House, Office, Building, Commercial Building or Industrial Plants. There are two type of Solar system. a. On-Grid Solar System &, b. Off-Grid Solar System
When the Solar Panel Power generation is connected to DISCOM grid then it is called as ON-Grid Solar System. In this system when sunlight falls on solar panel, its starts generating the solar electricity in DC (Direct Current) power mode, the attached power converter converts DC current to AC (alternating current). The excess of AC power is exported to DISCOM grid when not or Limited in use. At the same time when there no enough sunlight or during at night the grid provides the AC power supply. At the end of the DISCOM billing cycle we can come to know the exact export and import of electricity.
• Reduce electricity costs – as its own generate the power for use. • Easy maintenance – requires little maintenance and easy to clean. • Easy installation – Very easy to install and easy to understand. • Renewable energy – Energy is renewable through the natural source. • Environmental Balance – does not disturb the ecosystem of the earth. • No Extra Space required – Can be installed on roof of house/ Office / building or in parking area.
Net Metering is the mechanism which keeps records of Import and export of the electricity power in units. In a daylight when solar panels produce the electricity, excess of power which is not required on site is sent to grid (exported to DISCOM through Grid), but at the same time, during night when there is no sunlight or during the cloudy day the transferred units of power is taken back from the grid. Customer is only charged for the net electricity; which means the imports of the electricity units is higher than exported units.

Of-course Yes, solar power does generate electricity in monsoon or in cloudy days with   recued efficiency. But in a sunny day it averages out the productivity.

Solar electricity power is same, as we get it through DISCOM, we can use all electricity devices on the solar power. there are no voltage fluctuations irrespective of the number of appliances you use. Also, we can use all heavy industrial machinery on solar power too as per the requirement of energy.

On an average a 1KW solar plant produces 4 units of electricity in a day. However, it also depends upon factors like sunlight, radiation levels, surface maintenance of panels etc.

There is very little maintenance cost attached to solar system, it only requires a regular cleaning of a panels. Dust free panels are more efficient for energy generation. It is a good practice to keep solar panel clean with wet cloth.
Cost of the plant is depended upon factors like, consumption of electricity, structure design, plat size etc. our solar professionals will give you multiple choices of option as per your requirement at very attractive cost.
The breakeven can be achieved with in 3-5 years, and enjoy the free electricity for the next 25 years. This is the very profitable investment for the tenure.
NO, Solar Electricity is 100% Natural and renewable source of energy, as it is produced through natural source. It does not produce any toxic or harmful gases during production.
First of all, you need to have the open sunlight space for installation. secondly, you just need to fill our enquiry form, A solar professional will come to visit the installation site and will guide you through the installation process and subsidy procedures.

• The solar plant size is depend upon the flowing factor.
• Average requirement of electricity
• Available space for installation of panels (area open to sunlight)
• Sunlight radiation in the area

Usually, the life of a solar system is 25 -30 years, Solar panel comes up with a warranty up to 25 Years and inverter warranty may ranges from 5-10 years.

For the residential use the below mentioned subsidy is available:

For up to 2 kW – Rs. 30,000 per kW

For additional capacity up to 3 kW – Rs. 18,000 per kW

Total subsidy for systems larger than 3 kW – Maximum Rs. 78,000

Plant Capacity Subsidy Available
1 KW – 2 kW Rs.30,000/- – Rs. 60,000/-
2 KW – 3 kW Rs.60,000/- – Rs. 78,000/-
Above 3 kW Rs. 78,000/-

The Subsidy for Group Housing Society (GHC) / Resident Welfare Association (RWH) is Rs. 18,000/- per kW for common facilities, including EV (Electric Vehicle) charging up to 500kW capacity at Rs. 3 per kW each house.

There is no subsidy is available on commercial and industrial solar plan.

• The size of your Solar plant depends on the following factors • Your electricity consumption pattern • Available shadow free area • Solar irradiation in your area However, our solar professional will guide you, what exactly solar plat size is require for you after considering electricity consumption pattern of yours and space required.
